The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Monstrous Pre-Halloween Behavior Is Cruel – Adam, Nick, And Victoria Targeted

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) continues to gaslight his children. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are all being targeted by their father. Long known for his infamous games, Victor has no sense of morality in attempting to deceive. Devoted fans of this show are not surprised, as the king of ruthlessness has always proven not to be above using any tactic to get what he wants.

Victor decided in recent months that his children were not behaving as he wanted them to. That might be a reasonable outlook if Adam, Nick, and Victor were decades younger and badly misbehaving at home or school, but each person is middle-aged.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Tipped Victoria Newman Off

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was stunned that her husband would be intentionally playing pre-Halloween tricks. She felt it was very dangerous for Victor to be ambling down this October path.

Victor feels that his children were unable to get along at work, which threatened the business. Victoria’s track record as Chief Executive Officer logically proves otherwise but common sense does not seem to rate.

Victoria was tipped off by her mother when Nikki said Victor was trying to unnerve her, but Thomas Scott’s character did not go any further at that point in the plot.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Accepts Demotion

Adam has not embraced the demotion he accepted when returning to the family business. But he is projecting an upbeat attitude as part of a strategy to earn Victor’s trust and approval.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has no problem with Adam’s performance as his assistant to date. Victor does not believe Adam is on board with this menial job he purposely gave him that now appears to be part of the scheme being employed.

Teasers indicate Victor will fire Adam and then pretend to forget he did that just minutes later. So, the escalation of Victor’s faked memory issues persists.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman’s Job Performance Disrupted

Victoria was looking out for the best interests of Newman Enterprises while Victor allowed her to run the show.

He tired of her bickering with Adam and mostly used that conflict to strip the Chief Executive Officer title and apply a co-CEO tag, with Braeden’s character reclaiming all decision-making power.

So far Victor is not pushing the memory issue hard against Victoria. He is attempting to fool her more subtly because her senses are perceived to be sharper than his sons.

Exposure is inevitable unless Victor can fake a diagnosis and then similarly false stabilizing treatment. His plan to trick his children is no silly Halloween prank and serious repercussions seem bound to follow for the Newmans this fall on Y&R.
