Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) remains in focus on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) still loves her, but so does Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

But this is far from a typical romantic triangle, as Thomas’ history and actions in furthering the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) kidnapping make him Liam’s permanent person of interest in everything that’s even a bit suspicious.

Thomas won’t give an inch to Liam, who he has mixed feelings about. On the one dirty hand, Atkinson’s character thinks that Liam has waffled between Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for years. On the other closed clenched fist, Thomas actually believes that Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) are better off with Liam in their lives full-time.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham’s Backstory Matters

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is being used by Thomas, though she doesn’t know it. B&B fans recall her history of obsession, as she tracked Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) from London, England, to Los Angeles, California, in an effort to revive their relationship. Plus, there was the dead cat that she kept and continued speaking to.

That obsessed effort paid off in time, but wasn’t sustainable, as ‘Zander’ broke when Bradley’s character simply couldn’t stand the fallout from the scheme his rekindled relationship connected him to.

Of course, Xander was going out with Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) before Zoe came to the United States. Sioux’s character eventually dumped Xander because she felt, in part, that he was drifting back to Zoe. Thomas later tailgated Emma off Mulholland Drive to her horrid demise.

So, the pairing of Thomas and Zoe seems destined to eventually collapse on at least one of them.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Won’t Back Down

The epic and masterfully presented helipad scene that was shown last year demonstrated that, when it’s necessary, Liam will fight for the people he loves. Thomas was stopped in that instance and then ran and hide like a coward for days afterward.

Hardcore fans also recall Liam standing up to his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), when helping Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) try to preserve the building that Spectra Fashions once used as its base.

Thomas’ arrogance allows him to view Liam as an ant instead of a threat. Clifton’s character not only cares about Hope, he loves the daughter she shares with him. Those human factors mean that Thomas will remain the opposition indefinitely, regardless of whether he recognizes what that potentially means.

It may seem that Thomas keeps advancing on the path toward his eventual goal of remarrying Hope. But her conversation with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) confirmed that she’s certainly not in love with Thomas and does recognize his instability.

Yes, it’s possible that Hope’s vulnerability, which Liam mentioned to Thomas, could result in some type of attempted ‘Thope’ relationship. Maybe, a remarriage happens as well. But there can’t possibly be an unlimited time period for Thomas to either win, or lose. Liam, for one, won’t allow it and the viewers know that Zoe can’t be discounted as a potential, scorned enemy either.
