Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that while the weather cools down in Salem over the winter months, the drama will heat up. The soap recently unveiled its winter preview video, which has fans reeling with speculation.

DOOL spoilers hint that the soap could decide to dig into John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn), once again. Black was profiled in the video talking to Marlena Evans (Diedra Hall) at the pub, and he mentions how he’s been pondering the time when Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) found him, back in 1985.

Digging into Days history vault, Black is talking about a time when first entered the little town as “The Pawn”; a time when he didn’t know who he was, and believed he was Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).

DOOL Spoilers – Time To Re-Write History … Again

Much like many soaps, Days is infamous for rewriting history, but this is an ongoing trend for John Black. As there are so many onscreen years missing from his past, the writers have been able to do this time and time again.

John’s been a good guy, a pseudo-bad guy, a priest, a missionary, a superspy, a cop, a businessman, and so much more.

The character is an Alamain, who was once thought to be a DiMera, and the show recently once again did the switcheroo when it came to his biological father, with a little help from Dick Van Dyke.

But how will DOOL rewrite history for Mr. Black, this time around? Could it be that John Black isn’t really John Black, after all? Of course, the name “John Black” was just something concocted once he figured out that he wasn’t Roman Brady, but at one point in his life, he was known as Forrest Alamain.

Could it be that Black’s lineage was messed up and that he’s not who he was led to believe he was, all those years ago?
