General Hospital Spoilers: Did Nikolas Rig Valentin’s DNA Test So They Wouldn’t Match?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could have somehow rigged the DNA test between his aunt, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) so they didn’t match!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine May Be Trying To Make Amends, But He Still Wants Revenge!

Nikolas may be trying to make amends, but he still wants revenge – and he wouldn’t want to have taken any chances with Valentin’s DNA matching Alexis’ DNA, therefore ruining Valentin’s life and cutting him out of anything due him if he actually does have Cassadine blood running through his veins!

Both Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Valentin’s and Nikolas’ attorneys, respectively, were said to have watched over the lab to make sure nothing was altered – but Alexis was getting her blood drawn! Nikolas could have excused himself to go to the restroom or something and switched a vial while Martin was asking questions of a lab tech, therefore inadvertently creating a diversion for Nikolas!

GH Spoilers – It Doesn’t Make Sense For Helena Cassadine To Have Hidden A Codicil In Her Portrait

Valentin was sure that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was playing mind games with Nikolas and that he fell for it. It doesn’t make sense for Helena to have hidden a codicil in a portrait that was painted shortly before her death and given to Nikolas when she (supposedly) didn’t even know if Valentin was still alive!

We do know for sure that as of when Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was created in vitro that Valentin was alive and that Helena knew it. Whether she was trying to give Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly) an heir, as in the original story, or herself, as in Valentin’s recent drunken hallucination or possible ghostly visit, is unsure.

Why would Nikolas need to know that Valentin was disinherited when he was already the heir at the time the portrait was painted? There is also another question; Nikolas was not born at the time the codicil would have been written if Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) was supposed to have written it; at that time, the oldest male Cassadine was the heir – and if Valentin’s father was not Mikkos that would have been Stavros, born in 1957.

Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) was born in 1960 and Valentin was born in 1956 – before Alexis, who was born in 1963 – and the affairs Mikkos had with her mother do not line up with Valentin’s year of birth! Helena, in her “visit” said she was able to hide her pregnancy with Valentin from Mikkos because he would be gone for months at a time with Alexis and her younger sister’s mother!

General Hospital Spoilers – There’s Something Fishy

There’s something fishy going on with the codicil, with Valentin’s DNA test, and the whole story. The timing of the codicil being even written seems to serve no purpose, let alone what was written in it if it was really written by Mikkos; Nikolas was not yet born if he wrote it and there was no need to disinherit Valentin with Stavros still alive at the time unless it was written for future use in case both Stavros and Stefan died – which they did!

Did Nikolas not only alter the DNA test results but possibly somehow forged the codicil and put it in the portrait long before he was known to be alive and in Port Charles?

There are the tunnels under Wyndemere, and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) had been in Port Charles for several months before Nikolas revealed himself! To have her and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) on a wild goose chase to find it when he placed it there himself and knew where it was all along would be a very Cassadine thing to do, and taking a page from his grandmother Helena’s playbook as well!
