General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Returns, Steals Liz Away From Finn?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is bound to return to Port Charles at some point.

It’s just too soapalicious to have this mischievous character dangling in the wind offscreen when he could be bringing danger and angst to the canvas.

In particular, many fans are hoping he returns to bust up the just plain awkward pairing of head nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and infectious disease specialist Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

In theory these two should have mad chemistry, but they don’t. Plain and simple.
That’s not in any way a knock on the actors. Sometimes two people sizzle, sometimes they fizzle, and no amount of acting can hide that. That said, a sizable fan base are shipping Niz. Now.

Finn and Liz’s latest fiasco was their Vermont trip where they pulled maple syrup from a fake pine tree. And then Finn licked Liz’s sticky finger. Oh my, no.

Even Easton talked about the duo, telling SOD “I don’t know what’s going to happen with them, I really don’t. I actually thought it was done and then they re-engaged it.”

GH Spoilers – Where Are Fiz Going?

He added that the show is “trying to go all-in and see what happens with it” and that may have been the kindest way to say that this couple is lost. If the show has no idea what this couple is about, then no wonder the fans are over them?

According to Easton, if Fiz fizzle there’s always another story to tell. And that’s where brooding and dark Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) fits in.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Niz Ride Again?

The show could be setting up the return of Nikolas with a recent convo between Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

The former lawyer admitted that Nikolas probably wouldn’t face charges in PC since his victim and baby mamma Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) has amnesia and doesn’t remember him locking her up in a tower.

Nik’s return would be fire, with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) going berserk over his dad’s second fake death, and baby Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) being claimed by his deadbeat dad.

Liz helped Nik before he took off, and she likely would again if he came back and everyone was against him. Tell us GH fans, do you want Liz with Finn or Nikolas?
