General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), losing control over the company and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gaining control over Quartermaine shares. This may result in Michael losing the trust of the Quartermaines and have people question if he is fit for running the company.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson Has Shares
Now that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is out of prison, she has revealed that she has the shares that were left behind by her late husband. Nelle hit the jackpot with her marriage to David Henry “Hank” Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), and she is intended to cash in on her earnings.
This puts Michael in a tight spot since he is CEO, and Nelle is his ex who tried to kill him. At the same time, his family members are looking at him to handle getting the shares back from Nelle. However, after making his final offer to Nelle, he gives up trying to please her. What he didn’t know was that she was in contact with Valentin and that he was the one that she would be selling the shares to.
GH Spoilers – Ned Ashton
Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) has caught wind of Nelle trying to sell the shares and is trying to find out who she was selling it to but found out that she already sold them. He didn’t seem happy about Michael’s relaxed attitude about the situation. Ned has previously thought about gaining control of the company thanks to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) putting the idea in his head.

However, Ned has reassured Michael that he would stand behind him 100%. Still, he is upset about the situation Michael put the company in when it comes to the attach against the Corinthos family. When they find out that Valentin has the shares, they may wonder if Michael is fit to handle being CEO of the company. This could cause some problems, and Michael may be thrown into a battle for the CEO seat up against Ned, who may feel like he is a better fit.
What do you think? Do you want Ned or Michael to be CEO? Do you think that Michael should have taken the Nelle situation more seriously, or do you think he handled it correctly?
