Samantha Markle Ready To Sue Meghan Markle In Florida Court

British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle’s estranged sister Samantha Markle was in court in Florida this week in regard to her defamation lawsuit against the former basic cable actress.

The friction stems from the fact that Meghan basically tried to wipe Samantha’s existence off the face of the planet during the infamous 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview and her 2022 Netflix series.

Samantha claims that Meghan defamed her by calling her an ‘imposter’ a ‘deceptive opportunist’ and a ‘charlatan’ in her interviews. Meghan also displayed her ignorance of genetics when she referred to herself as an only child.

Royal News – Samantha Is Suing Meghan

Meghan’s lawyer, Michael Kump, claims that Samantha’s case is without merit and that Meghan’s statements were not libelous.

Kump also represents the Kardashian family and he stated “This has always been a lawsuit in search of a viable claim. The case has failed because it runs head first up against defamation law and the First Amendment.”

Royal News – Meghan Is Being Sued

The case was brought last March and dismissed in March of this year when the judge “found that Meghan was simply expressing ‘an opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-sibling.’ Samantha is now trying one more time to bring the case to trial in Florida.”

Judge Charlene Honeywell is overseeing the case and she is expected to render a decision in the next few weeks.

Samantha told The U.S. Sun “’I think the truth stands on its own, so I’m optimistic and thankful that we have a justice system that gives us the chance to present the facts.”

She told Fox 13 that she was hurt by Meghan claiming they were not close as children: “People change, they have agendas, they have other things influencing their lives. It doesn’t change reality.”
