Kate Middleton is looking happier than ever these days. Literally. Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their exit from the royal family, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have to work more. The Cambridges had a busy 2020 so far, and according to a new report, Kate is happy with working more. She feels like she has an important role in the royal family once again.
The Cambridges don’t mind taking on the extra slack. Sources revealed that Kate is “so happy” about. She’s been involved with her survey project on early childhood education, which means a lot to her. The alleged sources spoke to the Sun. Keep in mind these statements didn’t come directly from Kate herself. Sources say she feels more enthusiastic about her roles. She’s been opening up more about parenthood. Kate now feels motivated to look into the other initiatives that the Royal Foundation tackles.
“Kate is extremely passionate about the work the foundation does, and she has ideas and plans for how she believes it can be used to help some of the causes which she is particularly passionate about,” the insider told the outlet. “In recent weeks Kate has visited a lot of organizations and spoke to lots of experts and soaked a lot of information. She wants to use that to go out and bring about change to many of those who need support.”
Prince William and Kate can finally focus on the Foundation more, the insider claims. It’s always been a “tug of war” between Harry and William. The royal brothers couldn’t agree on what they wanted. Now the focus is on what Kate and William want for the Foundation. Kate’s work with the Royal Foundation shows how she’s come into her own over the years. Some sources have said that Queen Elizabeth is proud of her. Kate is making the steps to lead the monarchy one day.

This comes after the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that she’s happiest “with my family outside in the countryside and we’re all filthy dirty.” In a revealing new interview over the weekend, Kate talked about the daily responsibilities of raising her three children, Charlotte, George, and Louis. She made it clear that she prioritizes her family over other responsibilities. The interview aired on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast titled Happy Mum, Happy Baby. During the rare and candid interview, Kate talked about her happy place.
She was also asked what she would want her children to remember the most about their childhood. Kate remarked whether it is “I’m sitting down trying to do their maths and spelling homework over the weekend? Or is it the fact that we’ve gone out and lit a bonfire and sat around trying to cook sausages that haven’t worked because it’s too wet?” Shortly after the interview, Kate shared a photo of Charlotte smell a bluebell during a walk in the countryside. She even included a smiley photo of herself on the podcast, as reported by Town and Country Magazine.

Though the work that William and Kate are doing is very important, and they apparently are doing it well, I would hesitate to give the Sussexs’ exit from the Royal Family so much importance. I would attribute Kate’s happiness to a good marriage, three beautiful children, and growing more into her role. She is confident and, consequently, more comfortable. It is called “maturity.”
