Obviously, when a DNA test saying someone isn’t who they are supposed to be in Port Charles, we all know it’s apt to be a lie.

DNA tests in Port Charles usually get changed more than the local bedhoppers underwear. This is most likely what happened to Valentin Cassadine’s DNA results. But who changed them and why?

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Cassadine

General Hospital’s Ava Jerome (Maura West) would be a very obvious person. Ava has the codicil. Ava is married to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Ava wants Cassadine money. Ava wants Nik for herself. Ava also wants what she has been promised if Nik doesn’t follow through with02/21/2020 their arrangement. Ava has a great deal to gain if Valentin is not a Cassadine.

Ava also feels like she owes Valentin payback for Nik stalking her and tormenting her. Most of all, Ava owes Valentin for throwing her off the parapet at Wyndemere. Ava is determined to make Valentin pay any way she can. What better way does Ava have to get even than take everything Valentin holds dear?

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine

General Hospital’s Nikolas Cassadine wants to be the Cassadine heir regardless of who gets hurt. Nikolas tried to take over ELQ to replenish his money that was wasted by his grandmother and his uncle even though it was Emily Quartermaine’s family company. Nikolas has no loyalty to anyone but himself. Nikolas proved this by letting his son believe he was dead for three years.

Nikolas is all about the money and has been for years. Nikolas would have no problems paying someone to fake Valentin’s DNA results so he could get his inheritance, even if he wasn’t entitled to it. Nik knows he signed his rights over to Valentin to everything he should have inherited if he had been the rightful heir. Nik needs to regain control and this would allow that.

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht

General Hospital’s Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) could have easily changed the results as well. Valentin literally forced Liesl to help him change DNA results to show that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Liesl gave Nina the information to show how Valentin pulled off his elaborate hoax about her daughter.

However, Liesl may have decided that Valentin deserved to pay even more. Liesl may have decided that the only way Nina will stay away from Valentin is if he doesn’t have the money to keep pulling Nina back to him. Liesl could have done this out of the goodness of her heart to make her part in the lie up to Nina. Could Liesl have changed the results to teach Valentin a lesson?

Valentin may not be a Cassadine, but then again DNA in Port Charles is often changed more than an escort’s outfit. Will we ever know that truth about Valentin and his parentage? Will Valentin use the papers Nik signed to take over the Cassadine estate despite the codicil?
