The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas On A Hot Streak – Zoe Is Falling Deep In Love

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) committed another outrageous act on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. But Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) went along with it and so she’s eager to get married in the apparent near-term future.

As the invited throng watched, two with incredulity, Thomas bent down and presented a shiny rock that was intended to catch the eyes of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), while distracting everyone else from the real story.

Believing he’s winning, Thomas offered a smirk for the television audience while hugging his gleeful Zoe. The guy has to be given backhanded credit for being bold, though his scheme is clearly ugly.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Confused By Father’s Actions

When pressed by Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero), Thomas replies with a means to an end philosophy. LoCicero’s character has expressed opposition to his childhood friend’s plan to stir Douglas’ emotions as a way of pressuring Hope to remarry him. Yet, Atkinson’s character has moved forward.

The sight of Douglas turning around to look at the woman he now considers to be his mommy was heart-wrenching. After all this young man has been through and the bravery he demonstrated when standing up to his father by reporting that Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) was, in fact, Beth Spencer, Thomas had no problem employing his engagement surprise in order to get a rise out of his son.

Hope tried to console Douglas, later joining him in his upstairs room. Her efforts were to no avail, as Douglas couldn’t understand why Thomas wasn’t marrying Hope. She said ‘Thope’ didn’t work in the recent past, which didn’t make sense to him then, or now.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Impassioned Answers Accepted

Thomas’ gamble was that Zoe would be overwhelmed by the lengths to which he was willing to go, even expressing his love for her when asked to do so. With that threshold crossed, the anticipated effects on Hope and Douglas were easily visible to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). They both knew exactly what Thomas was doing, while other observers were suspicious, including Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

The heads of the Forrester family pressed Thomas on the timing of his actions, as he’s only seemed to become serious about Zoe since after the start of the new year. Thomas felt that people were chiding him no matter what he did. Ridge then gave his blessing, saying he simply needed to hear that Thomas meant what he said.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Chooses To Be Optimistic

Brooke confronted Zoe, saying that she was allowing herself to be drawn into Thomas’ games. The future Mrs. Forrester told Brooke that Hope was the center of her world, but was no longer Thomas’ focus.

Zoe feels that she and Thomas share a common bond, in that they’re both trying to redeem themselves after the Beth-Phoebe debacle. But Zoe can’t see that Thomas isn’t repenting, or evolving, but simply shifting strategy that will eventually create some form of massive upheaval for all involved.
