Prince Harry IS Invited To High Society Wedding, He Declined to Spare His Family Any Drama

British royal family news reports that Prince Harry allegedly declined an invitation to the VIP UK wedding of one of his best friends.

Until now reports indicate that Harry and his cable actress wife Meghan Markle were not invited so as not to alienate the real royals. But according to one inside source, this is not true: The Duke of Sussex was invited but refused the offer.

According to Page Six, one source insists that Hugh Grosvenor sent Harry a “Save the Date” card for his upcoming summer wedding. According to the insider’s version of events, Harry is being gallant and avoiding any friction his attendance might bring.

Hugh is the Duke of Westminster, and he is believed to be Prince Archie’s godfather. It’s been suggested that “Prince Harry personally called Hugh to explain he believed it would be best if he and Meghan didn’t attend the event.”

The source is adamant that Harry was invited a few months back “but called Hugh and said it would be too awkward if he and Meghan Markle attended, so he made his apologies and Hugh understood.”

The timing of this information is curious: Harry and Meghan are under fire for not speaking against a new book damning the royal family. Endgame just dropped and it was written by Meghan’s “soul mate” and serial liar, Omid Scobie.
