While it does seem very likely that Vic and Cole could feel sparks, after all, they are on the cusp of a family reunion, fans seem to forget that Ashley and Mr. Howard had a whirlwind romance, back in the day.

In fact, in many ways, Ash and Vic fought for his attention during this time. Cole was with Ashley when little Eve Nicole Howard was born, and Howard ended up marrying Ms. Abbott in the end.

They had their fair share of issues, but the last romance he shared in Genoa City was with Ashley before he went to Oxford and exited the canvas.

Y&R Spoilers – Writers Swerve Fans

All arrows seem to be pointing toward a Vicky-Cole reunion. Her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is falling apart, and she has evolved considerably over the years.

She is not the young scheming girl she once was, and things could work out for the two. Still, it is hard to discredit the romance he and Ashley shared.

Ash and Cole, at some point, are bound to cross paths and old feelings could re-emerge. But will old patterns between the two ladies also resurface? Could they find themselves, “fighting” over Cole’s affections?

Much like the show has re-ignited the love triangle between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), they could be doing the same thing here.
