Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Standing Firm – Ridge Remains Unwilling To Challenge Son

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) continues to stand firm in her belief that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is the root cause of family problems. While her husband, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), has admitted his son’s marriage proposal to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is weird, he’s unwilling to admit that Thomas is a problem. Kaye’s character believes that positive steps are being taken and that progress is happening.

Intriguingly, Bridge hasn’t broken since the latest round of drama split Brooke and Ridge. What initially seemed like the development of what would be a quick divorce has instead resulted in an extended period of separation.

However, Thomas’ ongoing push to create disruption in the lives of the Forrester’s and the Logan’s, along with others, is bound to create further clashes between B&B’s iconic couple. Fans are wondering how long either Brooke or Ridge can withstand that pressure?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Is Right

No matter how she comes across, which is acerbic at the time, Brooke is totally right about Thomas. But one of the problems she faces is that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the only other person who’s been willing to stop him, as the spectacular helipad scene proved.

As long as Ridge chooses to protect Thomas, as though this grown man were Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) age, Atkinson’s character will proceed as he’s been doing.

Brooke’s concern for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Ridge is genuine. She’s already seen the effects of the negative impact that’s occurred in the lives of her daughter and spouse. Anything further could be too much for them to withstand.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Confusing Hope With Reality

Yes, there is a play on words in the subject header. The hope being referred to implies his wanting to believe that Thomas is getting better.

The horrid decision his son made, in keeping the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) secret, included Thomas tailgating Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) off Mulholland Drive and not seeking to help her after the crash.

Ridge enabled Thomas from facing needed justice. In so doing he reinforced the false idea that life doesn’t have consequences. Hope and now Zoe, along with Douglas are having their lives disrupted by Thomas’ continued pursuit of self-centered goals. Ridge’s allowance of that prevents Brooke from reuniting with her, which means that he’s suffering the consequences of his son’s actions as well.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Primed To Do More

Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) recently spiked Brooke’s juice bottle with liquor and then made the mistake of revealing what she’d done to Thomas. That gives him the ability to manipulate Brooke’s hard-earned sobriety.

The audience witnessed a clear telegraph during the conversation where Thomas told Quinn that she’d gone too far. While he believed the dialogue that was uttered, Thomas now possesses the ability to strike at his enemy’s weakness, knowing that Brooke is already on edge.

Hopefully, Brooke and Bridge fans don’t see Thomas further Quinn’s reckless action. If he does, Ridge will eventually turn on him after learning what happened. But will Brooke’s true love gain that knowledge before too much damage has been done?
