The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Krista Allen has left the building as Dr. Taylor Hayes on the CBS sudser. News of her release broke Friday, coinciding with the airing of the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Allen walked the red carpet in LA Friday, after her Deadline interview in which she shared the news that the show was releasing her even though she had one year remaining on her contract.
Allen spoke about being recast and taking the role over from Hunter Tylo and referred to the slow acceptance some fans had in accepting her as the new Taylor Hayes.
That night Allen talked about her situation to Soap Hub saying that she attended the awards show feeling “really, really, good.”

Allen also spoke about not winning the trophy in her category which was awarded to the late Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson, General Hospital).
Every actor submits a highlight reel of scenes to the Academy and Allen’s reel had “a lot of the ‘Tridge’ family stuff, stuff with Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), and (the scenes in) Aspen.”

Allen’s added that her reel was meant to show how Taylor could not let go of Ridge despite Taylor and Brooke coming to a short-lived agreement to kick the cad to the curb.
What is in store for Allen in the future? She told the outlet that she “was just saying I think I’m going to write a book.
Something based on a true story about a girl who takes over an iconic role on a soap opera and, against all odds, ends up being nominated for a Daytime Emmy.”

Allen previously played Billie Reed on Days of our Lives but it’s unclear if she wishes to continue acting in daytime.
There is also no word on whether or not the show intends to bring Taylor back, either with Tylo in the lead, or perhaps recasting the role.

We’re OVER THE TRIANGLE let Ridge have his NIKKI/BROOKE and cut out the mayhem. The only ones who truly like Taylor are only Brooke and Logan haters who want to continue to see her get abused and lied on daily b/c they were accustomed to seeing her be treated like garbage for years. Some people get a kick out of virgins being harassed and abused until they fall and then labeling them a slut after they fall and then saying she’s chasing the guy when the guy sneaked in her bedroom and seduced rxped her and the writers making it look like it was an affair and turning it into a romance and she gets pregnant by her ex-fiancee’s dad and she’s labeled a whxre after her SECOND EXPERIENCE. So people are just plain old whacked.
I’m always happy when Taylor is gone. This last girl was too young and giddy. Hunter Tylo was ok until she had that facelift. For years I saw her as the most beautiful women on all the soaps but couldn’t see her as that after her lift. I get sick of Taylor and Brooke fighting. It’s all so childish.
I hope Steffy doesn’t leave
