General Hospital spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will be advised to steer clear of helping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) fight against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in an upcoming episode of GH!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Tells Brando Corbin He Will Protect Him
Sonny tells Brando he will not leave him unprotected, but he advises him to steer clear of trying to help in Sonny’s and Jason’s fight against Cyrus. For one thing, these are very dangerous men and unlike Sonny, Cyrus has no scruples. They kidnapped Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) daughter and shot him right in front of her!
Sonny says he knows that Brando and his mother had been estranged, but he wouldn’t want Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to have to deal with Brando dying for real, even though he doesn’t particularly care for the woman himself! It’s obvious that Brando wants to help and that he has some experience with these kinds of people because he told Sonny just the other day that “his son” Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) would likely be safer staying where he is instead of going to a boarding school as they had planned.
Brando also jumped in during the first attack at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse and saved Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) life. He has the skill set to help, but Sonny doesn’t want him to. He knows he has the skills but doesn’t want to endanger his life by putting him on the front lines.
However, he is okay to continue helping Sonny’s security detail at the house, however, as he already had as was evidenced in a recent episode when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev tried to sneak out of the house to go to the Midwinter Formal when Carly had forbad Joss in particular from doing so and Brandon had intercepted them and brought them back to the house! Brando obviously thought it was too dangerous for them to go and that they would be making themselves potential targets. Sonny likes Brando’s instincts.

GH Spoilers – But Will Brando Corbin Take His Own Advice And Sonny Corinthos’ Advice?
Since Brando jumps into dangerous situations and has been a hero on more than one occasion, the big question is whether he will take his own advice and play it safe and steer clear as Sonny advised him – strongly! Sonny, however likely has more than Brando’s safety in mind – he knows Brando has a criminal record and Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) would like nothing better than to have another associate of Sonny’s to look at first as a person of interest in crimes, as Jason has often been.
If Brando were to kill an opponent in a gunfight, for instance, and the cops intervened, they would naturally suspect anyone with a criminal record first, and question whether Brando shot in self-defense or if he shot first. In a gunfight where everybody’s a criminal, however, sometimes it is pretty hard for police to determine if there are any good guys and consider them all bad guys and haul them all in! Chances are Brando might jump in if he thought he was needed, whether Sonny wanted him to or not!
