Steffy explains that Thomas needs someone who will have his back. Then, Steffy tells Hope that she either needs to be all the way in or all the way out.

As Steffy is talking, Hope flashes back to Thomas’ marriage proposal. Hope’s face is filled with panic. Hope turned down Thomas’ proposal, but did agree to wear the ring around her neck.

So, Hope just might blurt out that she’s engaged to Thomas even though technically, she’s not.

Of course, Thomas will view this as Hope realizing she loves him. However, Hope’s panic on her face is clear.
