At some point the proud patriarch will be back in his mansion, with everything he needs. But how will he feel returning to the place where he collapsed in front of his loved ones at his party? It could be distressing for him to be back home where he had a traumatic fall.

Just when the family thought they lost Eric, his grandson-in-law John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) came up with a life-saving treatment and Eric was given a second chance.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) especially is worried that his dad will blame him for the aftermath if his quality of life is lessened.

Ridge knew that Eric didn’t want to be hooked up to machines or use heroic measures to save his life, but his family demanded that he give the okay for Finn to operate. He finally did so reluctantly.

Ridge and his dad have had issues before, most recently during the fashion showdown. It’s entirely possible that Eric could blame Ridge if his life is compromised due to the medical interventions on his behalf.

And how will Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) handle being in the role of caretaker? Sure, Eric will have the best help that money can buy, but if Eric needs to convalesce so she will be sitting on the sidelines, not squeezing out honey bear bottles.

It looks like there could be some fiery hiccups on the horizon for Eric, a man used to doing and getting what he wants.
