Just because there are other senior members of the royal family who have taken on more engagements and who have done more public appearances than her and her husband Prince William combined over the years, that doesn’t mean that Kate is work shy. The Princess of Wales wants people to stop thinking that she has some sort of aversion to work because that’s not the case at all. As the future queen of England, Kate Middleton certainly has a lot going on in her life right now.

Not only does she have to show support to her husband Prince William, but she’s also raising the couple’s three children and she’s taking on as many engagements as she can.

Not only that, but there’s also a lot of work and preparation that is done behind the scenes that a lot of people don’t know about, which is one of the reasons why Kate feels so irritated. She thinks that she’s not getting the credit that she deserves.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “What the court circular numbers don’t show is the hours and hours she spends with the team designing the programmes you see in public. Like her husband, she is deep in the reeds of the planning, something which isn’t reflected in the number of engagements undertaken each year. It’s irritating.”
