Finn has become oddly protective over Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) since Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) has been telling him about Thomas’ violent history.

It’s almost like he’s taken over Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) role as Hope’s protector, which is really odd since he’s been spending several months running off “Little Puke”.

Finn doesn’t even know Hope that well and this protector behavior has seemingly come out of nowhere, and something makes it even weirder.

Hope and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have always been romantic rivals, so why is Steffy’s husband suddenly protecting Hope? Finn is coming off a little unstable himself as he’s been making these sudden changes.

With Finn going caveman over Hope and warning her about Thomas being a murderer, with absolutely no romantic history between them could Finn be the dangerous one?

It’s causing some dysfunction between himself and Steffy for him to take such an extreme view of Thomas based on Xander’s accusations, who’s basically a stranger.

Finn doesn’t know Xander Avant from Joe Blow, and yet he believes every word he says about Thomas having killed Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on purpose.

Could Finn be a threat to Thomas if this Hope protector thing got out of hand, possibly turning into Sheila’s demon seed against Thomas? It seems that this could be building to a physical fight between Thomas and Finn-what if he seriously injures Thomas?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Violence Doesn’t Become Him

Violence definitely doesn’t become Finn, who is such a good guy most of the time-he’s actually the one who saved Thomas’ life from a dangerous brain aneurysm.

Could Finn’s acceptance and bond with his birth mother that almost ended his marriage have happened because he’s more like Sheila than anyone wants to think?

If he denies Sheila has good in her it’s like denying he has good in himself, and maybe that’s why that happened.

Or, maybe this protection of Hope is coming from a totally different place-with her father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) being so involved with his mother Sheila, maybe it’s something else. Maybe Finn is just taking the role of an overprotective big brother!
