General Hospital Spoilers: Chloe Lanier Returns To Port Charles

Her character might no longer be on the canvas, but that doesn’t mean that she’s gone forever. General Hospital spoilers indicate that while Nelle Benson might be behind bars, Chloe Lanier is back – but just for a brief reprisal.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, Nelle’s surprise return might seem like a shock for some people. But that’s just because everyone assumed that she would be gone forever. The actress left the show earlier this year to in order to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry. But at the same time, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Chloe pop in and out from time to time!

The actress told the publication, “Frank Valentini actually told me on my last day at General Hospital that I was going to be in a couple of episodes filming in September. And I got really excited! I had told him, ‘I’m more than happy to recur, I just need more time to do other things,’ and I’m really glad that I got to come back.”

And while it’s only been two months since we’ve last seen Nelle, Chloe says that she was feeling pretty nervous about getting back into character as Nelle. She added, “I was telling Josh Swickard [Chase], ‘I have to, like, remember what I did!’ I knew her like the back of my hand. But then after not doing it for two months I felt like I forgot pretty much everything. Mentally, it was a little overwhelming at first.”
