Prince Harry Doesn’t Want To Disclose Documents

Faced with the need to provide a list of documents, Prince Harry abruptly abandoned his libel case against the Mail. And the Duke of Sussex now faces a £750,000 legal bill.

Harry admitted defeat only hours prior to a deadline for his attorneys to offer up the documents, per the Daily Mail.

As a result, speculation soared about what those documents might have revealed. The trial focused on allegations that Harry tried to mislead the public.

But after his attorneys told the High Court that the Duke of Sussex discontinued the case, he must pay the newspaper’s costs of £250,000. And together with his own attorney’s fees, Harry faces a total legal bill of more than £750,000.

In his lawsuit, the Duke of Sussex claimed that the Mail unfairly described his PR aides as attempting to “spin” a dispute with the Home Office over reducing his police protection. And Harry thought that made him seem as if he wanted to confuse the public. However, Mr. Justice Nicklin previously rejected Harry’s request to rule in his favor without a trial.

Prince Harry Seeks Endorsement Deals?

As a result of the huge legal bill, rumors have soared that Prince Harry will finally turn to starring in endorsement deals. His wife Meghan Markle recently did so, starring in an ad for a coffee company. 

And now speculation has soared on social media that Harry will do the same. For instance, one commentator on Reddit shared, “Will Harry be doing some endorsement deals? Is anyone going to even buy anything that this guy promotes? Pretty sure that their outgoings now exceed their income. What’s an ex prince with a D-list wife  gonna do?”

And followers tried to guess possible endorsement deals for Harry. For example, one wrote, “Things I see him hawking: home security cameras, hair plugs, bongs.” But some focused on the significance of Harry feeling desperate enough for money to star in commercials.

“Oh, Harry, you fool. You had everything. Greed got you nowhere,” observed one commentator. However, some questioned the downside for companies of associating with the Duke of Sussex.

For instance, one critic asked, “What company would touch him though? Everything they’re involved with/attached to is always mocked & comedic material. Wait…Superbowl is coming up, perhaps a Hertz commercial?” And others speculated that because Harry often visits a gym, he could star in fitness company ads.
