General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) in the land of Port Charles.
She last appeared on screen in March 2023 and used to be the manager of Charle’s Pub, but the character has been swept under the rug since.
Could she return to the canvas to help reunite Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?
General Hospital Spoilers – Phyllis Caulfield Is A Big Part Of Sina’s History
GH spoilers indicate that Phyllis was the only person in Port Charles who got a front-row seat to Sonny and Nina falling in love.
She was first introduced to storylines as the nurse who was with Nina when she gave birth to her twin daughters, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), but became a good friend to Nina as the years wore on.
Sonny formed a bond with Phyllis when he stumbled into the bar she owned with her husband, Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) in Nixon Falls, suffering from injuries and amnesia. He became close to the couple and was devastated when Lenny passed away.
After Sonny regained his memories and returned to Port Charles, Phyllis came to the little town, too, and the mob boss purchased Charle’s and asked her to manage the place.

GH Spoilers – Phyllis Caulfield Resurfaces For Reunion
Phyllis has pretty much been erased from storylines. She wasn’t even invited to Sina’s wedding!
Still, soap operas have a way of smoothing over things like this, and perhaps Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) took on the role of manager because Phyllis was preoccupied with a family matter.
With Kristina pregnant and organizing the youth homeless shelter in town, it may be a good idea to take something off her plate, and this is where Phyllis comes in.
Sonny loves and respects Phyllis; he also has a soft spot in his heart for her and will listen to her. Phyllis has known Nina for longer than anyone; she also knows the trauma she’s been through.

Phyllis destroyed a family simply because she was fond of Nina. She needs to get off her high horse and go back to Nixon falls and take Nina with her. How can she have such high morals but approves of Nina’s destructive ways.
