B&B spoilers reveal that Donna was there for Eric when he had that vague diagnosis from his personal physician. While Eric was determined to end his life on his own terms, Donna tried to be supportive.

At the same time, Donna also tried to encourage Eric to tell his family the truth and to enjoy his last days a bit more.

In the end, Eric collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. While Eric was given a death sentence, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) feverishly performed an experimental procedure to save Eric’s life.

While Eric’s life was saved, he did have a close call. Eric actually died and went to the Other Side, where he faced Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). When Eric was brought back, he spoke to his loved ones about the afterlife.

Eric made sure that everyone, especially Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), knew that death was nothing to be afraid of. However, Eric also told Ridge that he is happy to be back home with his family.
