General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will apologize to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for his suspicions in an upcoming episode of GH!
General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn Has Been One Of The Harshest Critics Of Peter August Recently
General Hospital viewers will recall that Finn has been one of the harshest critics of Peter recently, agreeing with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that he is a threat.
Things came to a head between Finn and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recently when Finn found the files proving a work connection between Peter and David Black (Lon Gowen) that Anna held back from the police and the WSB and began fearing for his young daughter, Violet Barnes’ (Jophielle Love) safety and broke things off with Anna and moved himself and Violet out of her house and into a suite at the Metro Court!
Scorpio, of course, thinks that any spawn of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) would have to be pure evil, and would have probably tried to break up Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) and the late Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) if he could have known he was Faison’s son too, but there wasn’t time – no one knew until right before Faison and Nathan both died!
GH Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn Will Believe That Liesl Obrecht Framed Peter August
Another person that Finn never got along with or trusted is Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) so it is very easy for him to believe that she would have framed Peter for her crimes. After all, she kidnapped him and tortured him after Nathan’s death, and very nearly burned him alive when she tied him to a post in the horse stable on Spoon Island, and not only that, her own niece, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was tied to the post with him when she set it on fire!

Finn himself saved Peter’s life that day – and he knows what Liesl is capable of, and he also knows the years-long feud Obrecht had with Anna over Faison – not that Anna wanted Faison, but Liesl did, and Faison was obsessed with Anna! Once Anna shows Finn the evidence she found that she arrested Liesl and brought her in over, Finn thinks twice over his suspicions of Peter and realizes he may have been wrong about him – at least just a little bit!
He quickly seeks Peter out and apologizes for misjudging him – and the two men forge a tentative truce. It’s a short conversation and they don’t drag things out, but it’s heartfelt. Finn isn’t afraid to admit when he has been wrong or made a mistake, and Peter sincerely does want Anna to be happy, and he knows that she was happy with Finn when they were together. At least when Finn doesn’t trust someone it’s not just because they share a last name with a criminal, it’s based on believable evidence!

I am not surprised that many are believing. Peter about. Liesl. Everyone knows that Liesl kidnapped and nearly killed Peter. She was closely associated with Faison and knew a great deal about what he did. Maxie thinks that Liesl has become unstable again. Liesl told her that she recently got help to deal with her issues. Anna has long wanted to take down Liesl for the many things she did to her loved ones. Finn almost lost his career because of Liesl. Liesl is innocent of these shady things and I hope she will be alright. I have hoped that there has been more to what Peter has been doing these shady things like he is a government agent or spy or someone is controlling him. I do not want Finn to regret saving Peter. He went into a burning barn to save him for Anna. Finn is worried about Violet but she will be safe around Peter who has never been shown as a threat to a child. Peter is even calling Violet his little sister. I would like to see Finn and Peter become possible friends. I want things to work out and for Peter to get back into a better place and on the right path again.
