The “Rocky” star Sylvester Stallone is one protective dad who will go to any length to protect his girls.
Ahead of the season two of his family Reality TV show “The Family Stallone” which premieres on February 21, the actor’s three daughters Sophie, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21, told the “New York Post” how their dad hired Navy Seals to train them ahead of their move to the Big Apple.
The girls told the outlet that their trainings involved waking up as early as 6 in the morning to eat “egg with Ketchup.”
They also chased chickens just the way their dad did in “Rocky II. Sophia said, “It was a rigorous routine, it was every day at 6 a.m. he would make us eat eggs with ketchup, for some reason that combination was like an elite combination.” Sistine chimed, “But then it was a lot of sit ups, push ups, pull ups, clean and jerks. He made the perfect boys.”
Sistine went on to share that the trainings were caught on camera and will be featured in season 2 of “The Family Stallone” and added that it was perfectly edited to appear “really nice and kind of fluffy,” before going on to add, “It was about six hours we were in those woods. They made it a cute little montage, Sophia and I got our a–es whooped by these guys, they were the real deal.”
Although it was just Sophia and Sistine who underwent the training because they were the only ones going to New York City, they admitted how they weren’t surprised, “my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings.”
The youngest, Scarlet who lives in Miami happily said, “I was so happy I was not involved.”
Sylvester Stallone — The Protective Side Of Sylvester
The girls also shared how Sylvester, 77, goes “full Rambo” on the boys they bring home. Sistine shared her first experience witnessing her dad chase a guy away with his mere presence.
According to the 25-year-old, “Dating when you have the dad we do is rough. Bring any boy home and he goes full on Rambo.”
“The first time a boy came over to meet my parents he was going in for the first kiss, I was so nervous but I was excited. He looks up at the balcony and he goes: ‘Oh my god, what is that?’ It was my dad standing on the second floor balcony, back lit so you just see his silhouette.”
She continued, “He’s so cinematic in the most unnecessary way. Let me tell you, this kid jumps in his car, went down the driveway and I never saw him again.” She also revealed that she finally got her chance to get revenge on her dad last year when she pranked him with a cake that suggested she was pregnant.
The plan was successful because Sylvester got so mad that he said, “Let’s turn the camera off for second so I can destroy this place. I’m going full Rambo, pal!” At that point, his wife Jennifer Flavin, 55, stepped in and announced that it was a prank before he relaxed.
Sistine then confessed, “I did it because you have a hard time accepting the fact we’re getting older, we’re maturing, we’re approaching those years. You just need to make more of an effort, or just not scare off every guy we bring over, especially ones we care about.”
