Days of Our Lives comings and goings tease a big return of two beloved characters as Sal Stowers and Lamon Archey make their way back to the soap.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Visit Or A Stay?
With Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) family house burning down and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) Grant’s mother suffering from cancer, it looks like the right time for the Grants to return to Salem with their twins, Jules and Carver Grant.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) have been talking about Lani’s imminent release from prison for a while now and it seems that is about to happen.
On February 26, Lani and Eli return to Salem to be with their family members during this difficult and traumatic time, something fans have been clamoring for. Eli and Lani are a mega-popular couple that fans didn’t want to see leave in the first place.
The question remains — are Eli and Lani around for a short visit or do they plan to stick around Salem this time?
DOOL Spoilers – Why Did Eli Archey And Lani Price Leave?
Eli and Lani thought they finally found happiness with their children after their first son was stillborn a few years prior.
Then, Lani’s biological father returned to town and she ended up killing the abusive man to get him to leave Paulina alone.
Paulina tried to take the fall for her daughter, but Lani confessed and was sentenced to a prison out of town.
Eli moved closer to the prison with their twins so they could visit their mother regularly, but Lani was released on furlough last summer when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was presumed dead.
She is the one who found him alive, but was then sent back to prison to finish the remainder of her sentence.
Is Lani only out temporarily again or is she a free woman for good? Some may argue she never should have been behind bars to begin with since she was only trying to save her mother’s life.
Paulina would have been happy to go to jail for Lani, but Lani couldn’t let that happen.
