Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint the love triangle storyline between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) has taken a bit of an odd turn.

While it seems like Danny does have feelings for Red (that he’s trying to fluff off), as of late, the arc is focusing more on the ladies’ rivalry and Danny’s need for peace, versus his conflicted feelings between the two.

While social media can be a toxic cesspool of negativity, the beauty of it is that it can connect fans with some of their favorite daytime drama stars. Recently, a Y&R viewer relayed their feedback about the Red/Bug/Rockstar love triangle and got a response directly from Michael Damian!

Whether you are #TeamPhyllis or #TeamChristine, Danny’s focus on keeping the peace is a bit annoying; especially when fans want to see some romance!

One fan hopped onto X/Twitter and tagged Michael Damian on her post. Username @twinstr2 asked the star to pass on a message to Y&R writers.

She stated that if the Danny/Cricket/Phyllis storyline didn’t start to make sense, she’d stop watching.

She added that she gave the show a chance again, because her mom was a longtime fan from the start, and she recently passed away.

Y&R Spoilers – Michael Damian’s Response

Michael responded to the post promptly, telling the fan her message was heard “loud and clear”. He also passed on his condolences to her mom and tagged both Lauralee Bell and the Y&R X/Twitter handle.

Unlike Days of Our Lives (DOOL), the Y&R films only weeks in advance, which means that if a storyline is dragging on a bit or getting a negative reaction from fans, it can be changed. With that being said, will the soap take action?
