The Horton house was burned, Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) attacked-or attempted to be attacked-and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) shot all on one night.

This was after Everett and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) published that article exposing Clyde-Everett was the one who noticed Clyde’s phone ring! And yet, Everett wasn’t targeted by Clyde and nothing other than being exposed as Bobby Stein happened.

Everett’s exposure as Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) didn’t have anything to do with the paper or the exposé.

Chad was targeted by the arson at the Horton house, where he was living with his kids, and Lucas and Harris for what they know.

Everett’s being taken to task for secrets and lies, but nothing related to the article or his threat to Clyde-the threat about snitching about his phone. He did at one point in the interview make a cryptic comment, about Clyde’s “secret” being safe with him!

Perhaps he’s got one more secret that’s safe with Clyde and won’t be exposed by Jada or Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Could Everett be secretly working for Clyde as well as Officer Goldman (Christy St. John) and causing some of the chaos around town?
