While Kate Middleton is hiding from the world and recovering from her mysterious stomach surgery, the show must go on. 

Carole Middleton’s brother Gary Goldsmith is currently filming Celebrity Big Brother UK, and is having a tough time not talking about his niece.  Would you be able to chat with the Duchess’ Uncle right now and NOT bring her up?

We have a sneaking suspicion the Royal Family isn’t too keen on the idea, but can they really ban someone from appearing on TV who isn’t even a member of their family?

On yesterday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK, Gary’s co-stars put him between a rock and a hard place and begin questioning him about Kate Middleton’s health and surgery. 

Obviously, if the Palace isn’t even allowed to speak on her mysterious ailments, the Middletons aren’t going to let Gary Goldsmith spill the beans on reality TV.  Here’s to hoping he lasts the whole season without blabbing about the Royals.

Per Page Six, “Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu asked Gary Goldsmith out of the blue during Wednesday’s episode, “Where’s Kate?”  In response, the entrepreneur, 58, stammered, “So, because she doesn’t want to talk about it … the last thing I’m going to do is …”

Gary Goldsmith Talks About His Niece

Gary Goldsmith also said he discussed his niece’s health with his sister Carole Middleton, and she assured him Kate is getting “the best care possible.”  But, what does that even mean when we don’t know what is wrong with her? 

Rumors have been running rampant about the Duchess of Cambridge for weeks now, and Gary’s strange response didn’t exactly ease Royal Family critics’ concerns.
