Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad Faces Clyde, Will He Go To Trial For Murder?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has struggled for the past two years since the murder of his wife Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Although it wasn’t clear immediately who the culprit was, the killer turned out to be Clyde Weston (James Read).

Clyde had only recently been released from prison and seemed to have turned over a new leaf. He even started a sweet romance with Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo). But none of it was real, and Abigail paid the price.

Chad was beside himself once he found out and almost executed Clyde. But EJ DIMera (Dan Feuerriegel) stopped Chad from killing Clyde. Chad relented and took some comfort in the fact that Clyde was going to prison for a very long time.

Chad tried to move on by romancing Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) but things didn’t work out. Partly because Chad couldn’t get past Abigail’s death.

To make things worse, Clyde had enough influence while in prison to run his drug operation, the same drugs that almost killed Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

DOOL Spoilers – Clyde Weston Has Escaped Prison!

Clyde has an informant on the police force, Officer Goldman (Christy St. John). Clyde also recently forced Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun), Steve Johnson (Stephan Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to facilitate his escape from prison.

Clyde and Goldman are likely hiding out at the Horton Cabin, the very cabin that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel DuPris (Raven Bowens) are headed to on their belated honeymoon.

Look for a face-off between the honeymooning couple and Clyde and Goldman. Clyde will likely get the upper hand unless someone comes to their rescue.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera To The Rescue!

Chad will most likely in the nick of time to save Johnny and Chanel. But Clyde may not be so lucky. Perhaps after Johnny and Chanel make their escape, Clyde and Chad will be left to finally settle the matter of Abigail’s murder. Whether or not Chad actually pulls the trigger, Clyde will likely end up dead.

Its unclear if someone else shows up to finish off Clyde, but Chad will likely still be charged with his murder even if he didn’t actually commit the crime. Chad isn’t a murderer but Clyde has pushed him too far and the evidence will be damning.
