Ginger Zee’s Husband Stands By Her Amid Character Attacks

What joy is it to have a man who will have your back through the glory and downfall of it all? And Ginger Zee is basking in the love that hers so freely gives.

In light of the whole report by New York Post about Zee being a “nasty” person behind-the-scenes and for her alleged involvement in getting former Good Morning America colleague Rob Marciano fired, her husband Ben Aaron has indirectly addressed these claims. Here’s his loving defense.

Ben Aaron – Says He Knows His Wife Ginger Zee Better Than Anyone Else

Ben Aaron seems to have indirectly addressed the controversies that’s plagued his wife in recent times.

“I’ve said it before, many times,” he wrote in the caption of his May 2 post featuring a cute picture of the couple. “The greatest honor I have in life is knowing you better and more personally than anyone on earth. I’ve seen you in times of struggle and success, exhaustion and elation. Every emotion one can fathom, I’ve seen you.”

He added, “And what always amazes me, what consistently blows my mind, is that even at your absolute worst, you are still the best person I know. Even when you are beat down by the world or attacked by the spiteful, you maintain this poise.”

“Being a strong female in a power position is difficult for the insecure but you keep going, accepting their flaws and preventing it from affecting you. No one dims your light, they can’t, it’s too powerful.”

Sources Calls Ginger Zee “A Know-it-all” Who Can’t Take Criticisms

Ben Aaron’s statement comes after sources talking to the Post claimed that Zee and Marciano had been secretly feuding for years.

The source allegedly claimed that the two have always clashed since Marciano joined the show in 2014.

While Marciano was described as hot tempered, the source said Zee could be nasty. They added, “I think she brought out the worst in him. I’m not giving him a pass.”

A media executive told the outlet: “It’s sad because they are two people who are really into the science of the weather, unfortunately their personalities didn’t work. She treated him as a beta and she was the alpha.”

On top of all this, Zee was described as “a know-it-all” who can’t take any form of criticism. “If you say something she disagrees with, she references her Twitter followers, saying, ‘You are wrong, my followers on Twitter loved it.'”

Happily, one colleague did come to Zee’s defense saying, “Ginger is a collaborative, inclusive, and hard-working leader who is well respected by her colleagues and has never had a complaint about her working style.”
