British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s Nigerian Riviera Tour was a bust, not a blast as she and the Pauper Prince and their fugitive government friend want you to believe.
On the heels of Meghan’s Playboy visit, Nigeria’s First Lady called her out by name in a blistering speech about naked celebrities.
In case you missed it, Meghan went to a conservative country wearing a slip and had blankets thrown at her to cover her immodesty. Did it work? Does anything work with the Discount Duchess?
Royal Family News – Senator Oluremi Tinubu Ripped Meghan
The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, gave a speech in Abuja after the Markles left (Meghan was called out for dressing like a garden tool everywhere she went). In her address, Tinubu said: “We have to salvage our children. We see the way they dress. We are not having the Met Gala. And everyone, the nakedness, is just everywhere and the men are well-clothed.”
One poster summed it up perfectly: “This is an opportunity for Meghan Markle to learn a valuable lesson. She dressed wildly inappropriately throughout much of that trip … If she studied international relations, as she claims, she should know the value of studying the culture and dressing and behaving so as not to offend. Will she instead lash out rather than taking the criticism … and using it to avoid such mistakes in the future?”
Readers, what do you think, tell us in the comments below if you think Walmart Meghan is capable of hearing constructive feedback.
Royal Family News – Meghan Slammed For Inappropriateness
Tinubu called Meghan out by name. Maybe she didn’t like the fact that Meghan claimed, without proof, that she is 43% Nigerian, then went on to claim the country is hers?
She said: “Why did Meghan come here looking for Africa? That is something we have to take home with [us]. We know who we are. Don’t lose who you are.”
The Sussex’s trip to Nigeria was “intended to promote the Invictus Games” according to the New York Post. “Experts criticized Markle’s choice of expensive and revealing outfits” suggesting that Buckingham Palace would have schooled her.
Maybe Meghan would have been better received had she doled out some pretend strawberry jam to the government officials, one of whom sponsored their trip and whose claim to fame is being a wanted fugitive by the FBI. That says it all doesn’t it?
