On Tuesday, June 4, Kim posted a shot of Janet from the “If” music video. The outfit consisted of a black cropped vest with white detail in the front. Janet wore the vest with black low-waisted flared pants.

She famously wore the outfit in her 1993 music video for the steamy single. Kim snagged the look to Janet Jackson’s concert, which she attended with her mom Kris Jenner, and her sister Khloe Kardashian. It was sold for $25,000 at a May 2022 auction. It was first listed on the Iconic Treasures from the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson auction.

Kim Kardashian followed up her post with a shot of her inside her Los Angeles mansion. “For Janet Jackson’s birthday because I’m such a fan. I can’t believe I won this outfit,” she revealed.
