It’s been a busy time for the British Royal family, with Megxit, Prince Andrew’s travails and coronavirus fears just a few of the vexing issues they have recently had to deal with. So, if there is a spot of sunshine on the horizon, it would be a most welcome sight for this beleaguered family.

Beautiful Princess Eugenie celebrates her 30th birthday today, and that’s definitely a cause for celebration. But in addition to her milestone birthday, might she have something else positive to share?

Ever since Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank back in 2018, royal watchers have waited in anticipation for news of a new royal baby. Now, a recent post from Eugenie has the world speculating that that time may have finally arrived!

Did Eugenie drop a hint on Mothering Sunday or Mother’s Day?

In the UK, Mother’s Day is formally known as Mothering Sunday, and it occurred this past Sunday. The day is observed on the fourth Sunday of Lent and is associated with the tradition of residents visiting their  “mother church.” In the U.S. we refer to the day as Mother’s Day and unlike in the UK, the day is not associated with religion.

Eugenie marked the occasion by giving a shout out to both her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and her older sister Beatrice, on Instagram. “Happy Mother’s Day!!,” she wrote, “Today I want to celebrate my mumma but also all the amazing mothers out there.”

She went on, “I would like to celebrate all the mothers that can’t be with their children today because they are saving lives or keeping their distance to keep them and their children safe. Today and every day we should tell our loved ones how much we love and cherish them. #happymothersday #happy #mother.”

The post was immediately pointed out by royal watchers as a possible hint that Eugenie herself could soon become a mom. Is she indeed pregnant?

Does Eugenie’s post contain a hint about pregnancy?

Eugenie’s post was a sweet tribute, but in all honesty, it’s hard to find much solid evidence that she herself is saying that she is soon to be a mom! Nonetheless, those who are anxiously awaiting that happy day are likely to see this message in just about anything she comments on.

Which is to say that Jack and Eugenie have not confirmed that they are pregnant! Even so, it is an open secret that many bookmakers expect them to be the next royal couple to announce a pregnancy.

According to a spokesperson for the bookmaker Ladbrokes, “It’s looking increasingly likely another royal baby will soon be on the way and the odds suggest it’s Eugenie!
