Justin Timberlake’s Alcohol Issues Laid Bare

Justin Timberlake‘s mugshot is going viral online. No this is not an AI mugshot or anything like that, or even taken for entertainment purposes, it’s a mugshot mugshot. The singer was recently arrested for drunk driving.

Since Timberlake’s arrest and subsequent release made headlines, fans have been asking one question: is the “Cry Me A River” hitmaker struggling from alcohol addiction?

He was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI). He was reportedly also given citations for not observing a stop sign and for driving on the wrong lane.

Witnesses on the scene accused the Grammy winner of being “wasted.” Despite this, Timberlake, 43, insisted he only had “one martini” during his night out with a bunch of friends.

Per Page Six, even though Timberlake appeared in court, he refused three attempts at a breathalyser test.

One source reportedly said: “At one point, just before closing, somebody got up to go to the bathroom and left his drink on the table. When the guy came back, Justin was drinking his drink,” an insider told The NY Post. “The guy goes, ‘Justin, that’s my drink!'”

When Timberlake was pulled over, he was reportedly with friends who told the police to “let him go” whilehe was muttering, “This is going to ruin the tour.”

The obtained police document described his eyes as “bloodshot and glassy” with a “strong odour of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath” when he was arrested after midnight.

Does Justin Timberlake Have Alcohol Problems?

This rollercoaster of arrest and release have made fans to turn their interest on the singer’s personal life, especially whether he has been masking an alcoholic problem.

A source speaking to Page Six claimed he was. “It’s not a secret. Everyone knows. He has a real drinking problem, a lot of weed — but a major alcohol problem and he’s been hiding and masking it for years.”

The source went on to accuse several close friends of enabling his problem, adding, “It’s a real thing, and when you have a drinking problem, it’s apparent, yet they’ve pushed this tour on him, and he’s been in a very dark place.”
