Morgan Fairchild holds no grudges against her former Roseanne co-star Sandra Bernhard.

Following Bernhard’s apology for her “snotty little attitude” towards Fairchild, who played Bernhard’s on-screen girlfriend Marla in three episodes of the ABC sitcom, Fairchild expressed her appreciation for the apology. “Sandra Bernhard’s words really touched me; it was very kind of her,” Fairchild shared on X (formerly Twitter).

“Although it was a challenging experience on set for me, that’s just how show business goes-I already follow her on X, but unfortunately, she doesn’t follow me back.” Perhaps now that Sandra’s made that public apology, that will also change.

Bernhard revealed during her June 20 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” the regret she carries for not being kinder to her former co-star.

She confessed to host Andy Cohen, “I wish I had been nicer to her-I wasn’t always respectful and I truly wish I could tell her, ‘You were amazing to collaborate with.'”

Reflecting on their groundbreaking representation as the first gay couple on TV, Bernhard humbly acknowledged, “I owe you an apology; I admire you and appreciate you enduring my snippy behavior.”

She mentioned she hadn’t reached out to Fairchild yet, stating, “I didn’t exactly know how to approach it,” but conveyed a hopeful message that Fairchild would eventually see her apology.

 She empathized “Many of us weren’t the friendliest towards her-I’m holding myself accountable, darling, just like everyone else.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Morgan Fairchild Did Get The Message

Fairchild was finally made aware of the apology when Cohen tagged her in a video of the clip; in response, Fairchild expressed her willingness to meet up for coffee.

She also confirmed that she already follows Cohen on X, formerly Twitter, and Bernhard acknowledged the fact.

Bernhard eagerly accepted the offer to meet up with her, thanking Fairchild for her gracious response, and was very appreciative towards her.

In a subsequent message, Bernhard praised Fairchild as a talented and open-minded individual deserving of all the love and celebration she receives.

She also promised to discuss further over a cup of coffee soon and Fairchild later confirmed that they had been in touch, despite the distance between them, and expressed her gratitude.
