General Hospital Spoilers: Cynthia Watros Dishes on Nina’s Long Lost Child!

General Hospital (GH) teases that the mystery of who Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long lost daughter really is looking to be coming out very soon. For the longest time, Nina was duped into believing that her daughter was Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), but that turned out to be an elaborate plot orchestrated by her fiancé at the time, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to make Nina happy.

This backfired for Valentin, and Nina eventually dumped him for all his lies. So Nina went back to square one, with no idea who her child is, or if they are even still alive. It still haunts Nina to this day.

General Hospital Spoilers – The half-heart shaped locket!

But Sasha, of course, had no idea about the half-heart shape locket that Nina has another half of. Nina’s real daughter is in possession of the other. There’s been a lot of speculation about the identity of the little girl. Originally, it seemed likely that Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) wasn’t Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) biological daughter, but was in fact Nina’s. But with Kiki dead, it seems more likely now that Nina’s daughter is someone else.

Speculation abounds that Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) will turn out to be the one. But others believe that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is Nina’s child. Even others think that it may turn out to be Sasha after all. Another possible, yet a seemingly unlikely theory, is that Nina’s daughter is someone we’ve not yet seen. There are valid reasons that each young woman could be at the heart of the big reveal. But what did Nina’s portrayer, Cynthia Watros, have to say?

When recently interviewed, Watros was asked by TV Insider, what she thought about all the theories. Here’s what she had to say.

“I have read some things online,” she told TV Insider. Then, she added, “I love it all. Some people are thinking one way. Other’s debate that another theory is what’s real. And I do know some things, which of course I can’t share. I think that everyone is going to be extremely shocked [when the truth comes out]. Let’s leave it at that.”
