Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Ex Ryan Anderson and New Boyfriend Urker Clash

For Gypsy Rose Blanchard, old is new again. After running off to marry Ryan Anderson after Ken Urker broke off their engagement while she was in prison, she’s now filed to divorce Ryan and is back with Ken. Talk about a real switcheroo. Sadly, Ryan is not ready to let it go and is still snubbing Ken every chance he gets.

Gypsy’s life is getting even more dramatic after she was released from prison, though not for any crimes she might have committed in the past.

Okay, here’s the story for the uninitiated. Gypsy, 32, dated Ken, 31, from 2017 until 2019 while she was serving time for the role she played in the murder of her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

After they split, Gypsy and Ryan connected via a letter he sent her, and in July 2022, the pair tied the knot, while the former was still in prison.

Following her release in December 2023, Ryan and Gypsy presented a strong image of a couple very much in love to their fandom. However, it didn’t take more than three months for this veil to crack. Some love right?

Anyhow, Ryan’s found himself a new job, and that is picking on Ken, Gypsy’s ex-fiancé who is now her current beau.

In a live Q&A he conducted with fans of the Lifetime series, he claimed having better looks than Ken, saying, “Yeah, of course, I’m better looking than Ken.”

Listing one of the ways he trumps Ken as regards to beauty, he said, “I actually have my hair. Oh, I shouldn’t have said that. Sorry, Ken.”

While some fans praised him for calling it like it is, others called him out for being creepy.

We also saw the couple’s dissolution in the reality series on Lifetime, ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup.’ But even before it became clear that Gypsy and Ken are back together, Ryan seemed to suspect it, even jeering at her one time by telling her to “go call Ken.”

The night Gypsy decided to walk away from the marriage for good was reportedly an intense one, with the then-couple getting into a big argument.

“He got in her face and screamed,” a friend told PEOPLE at the time. “Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her. He didn’t – but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared.”
