General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, July 1-Friday, July 5, 2024, tease shock, scandal, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)!

Coming Up On General Hospital

Port Charles is shocked and rocked with scandal as the news spreads-someone recorded a conversation Sonny had with Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) and put in The Invader-the WRONG conversation!

GeAlexis Davis Gets The News

At home, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets the news on her cell phone as Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) sits beside her.

It looks like Kristina has some kind of legal documents she’s holding and gazing at as Alexis stares at her phone in concern. Soon, Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) voice comes on as she’s shown at Pozzulo’s on her own phone.

Diane, too, has a look of extreme concern on her face as she says they need to go to the Invader’s website now and make sure they turn up the audio.

Alexis, with her law license back isn’t really running the paper anymore and likely suspects their gossip editor, Adrian DeWitt; (Dieterich Gray) a Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hire!

Maxie Jones Reacts

In the meantime, Diane may be making the call to a group of people, as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is sitting at her desk at Deception Cosmetics.

She is definitely affected by the paparazzi style scandal sheet style article, and looks shocked. The article is now up on her phone’s display and it indeed is bad, bad news, considering it affects the company!

It’s a scandalous exposé of Natalia and her daughter Alison Rogers aka Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), and the recording is of a past conversation between Natalia and Ava.

Specifically, it says the recording is of Natalia talking about Blaze and Kristina being a couple, and Natalia using gay-bashing language, plus it exposes Natalia for her controlling her daughter.

An Emergency Business Meeting At Deception Cosmetics

An emergency business meeting is called at the Deception Cosmetics office, with Natalia, Blaze, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) in attendance.

It looks like Maxie likely plays the recording, as Natalia is upset and Blaze is crushed. Maxie cries out, “Oh my God” as Natalia asks what is going on?

Maxie says it’s a disaster, all right-as Lucy looks shocked and Lois looks like she’s dealing with a sudden migraine.

GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Is Furious

Now we see Sonny furious and throwing what appears to be a flash drive across the room in his office at Pozzulo’s, and barely misses Diane’s head-she ducks!

Sonny is furious over the article and the fact that someone’s recorded Natalia and he is clearly not happy about what Natalia was saying – if someone recorded that, what else have they recorded?

At the time we were convinced Natalia’s less-than-forward take on Kristina and Blaze’s relationship which was recorded on Ava’s phone was just waiting for her to detonate the bomb at just the right time. And this is the time….

Obviously Sonny is concerned with the impact this scandal will have on Kristina, his daughter with Alexis. Now Alexis shows up and asks him what are WE going to do about it?

Sonny’s gotten himself under control but he looks very angry, and so he should be! It won’t take Sonny and Alexis long to figure out Ava is the mastermind behind this!

This scandal will rock many lives in Port Charles. What does this mean for Sonny and Natalia’s relationship? Will Blaze blast her Mom? Will Kristina and Blaze’s relationship suffer? Only time will tell!
