Mindy has been trying to make her relationship with Zack work, but he has been making things very difficult for her. When they were supposed to be moving in together, he decided not to move in, and as of last week’s episode, he only stayed the night after that Mindy decided to recommit. It seemed to Mindy that things were going to go well as she finally found out what the secret was, and they had worked through it. However, she would find out that she was not told the true story of how he found out about the so-called “secret.”

It turns out, Mindy’s ex had offered her a ride when they came back from their honeymoon. However, Mindy received a ride from one of her friends instead. Somehow, Zack had found out about it. However, viewers and Mindy would soon find out who told Zack. While discussing with her friends the conversation she had with Zack and how everything was going well, Mindy’s friend told her about how Zack might have found out as she said to him that she had only told one person about what had happened.

This person was Lindsey; this drew lines together and connected those missing dots for viewers and Mindy as she realized that Zack could have only found out through Lindsey. This means that Zack was still keeping secrets from her and lying to her. Upon this discovery, she decided to confront him and decided to end things with him. This was exciting for viewers who were happy to see her get out of the relationship that was going nowhere.

It seems like it is the end for this couple as Mindy realizes that the relationship would not work with Zack.
