In what may be a further blow to Prince Charles, who tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, Meghan Markle has reportedly forbidden his youngest son Prince Harry from seeing his father.
According to the Daily Mail, an inside source has said that the Duchess of Sussex has informed her husband, “under no circumstances, is she okay with him traveling anywhere right now.”
Of course, traveling in and of itself might be a bit hard given the global mandate to remain in one’s home, and severely curtailed flight schedules. But, given their access to and penchant for private jets, plus their newly declared independence, travel for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might not be a problem.
Prince Charles, 71, is in self-isolation with his wife Camilla on the Balmoral estate in Scotland, according to an official statement.
The inside source went on to divulge more revealing tidbits about Harry and his father, saying, “Meghan said Harry’s been in touch with his dad… Of course, he’s frustrated. She said they both are frustrated because they are doers and want to do so much more to help.”
Harry and Charles were last together earlier in March. On March 9 they made a joint appearance at the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey.
Prince Charles, 71 and next in line to the throne, tested positive for coronavirus this week and he is reported to be suffering from mild symptoms. Despite the fact that the Prince is apparently not suffering gravely, his age places him in one of the groups particularly vulnerable to the effects of the devastating virus. His illness began to manifest two weeks after a meeting with Prince Albert of Monaco who tested positive for COVID-19 five days ago.

It was previously reported that Meghan and Harry are themselves self-isolating in Canada, with Meghan noting that, “they are grateful, especially Harry, that they could spend time with his family before all this insanity began.”
Apparently the isolation has motivated Meghan to foster a rescue animal as a way of lending a hand to local animal shelters and has urged her circle of friends to follow in her footsteps.
According to the inside source, baby Archie, who becomes 1-year old in May, is a “bundle of energy” who is now able to pull himself up while in his crib which according to Meghan is cute, but nerve-wracking. Meghan is also reported to have said that the royal baby has a new thing, “blowing kisses, which is just absolutely adorable.”
