The Kardashians Social Media Brand Grows With Help From Bots

The Kardashians Social Media Brand Grows With Help From BotsThe Kardashians‘ social media brand is growing with the help of bots. They’ve been accused of “buying followers.” Yet, there has been mixed reaction to their businesses. Keep on reading to learn more.

Fans Bored By The Kardashians

Fans are no longer keeping up with the Kardashians. They’re bored by them. Their social media accounts have some of the lowest-performing engagement levels. People have been baffled by their popularity since there’s so much criticism about the family.

Kim Kardashian‘s SKIMS and SKKN brands have poor engagement levels even though both brands have millions of followers on Instagram. Khloe’s Good American brand has also declined in engagement numbers.

Kylie’s clothing brand, Khy, is at the highest level while her toddler clothing brand, Kyliebaby, isn’t doing as well.

This information comes from a new analysis from The U.S. Sun and Phalanx Analytics. Typically, celebrities with over one million Instagram followers have engagement levels between one and five percent. However, that’s not the case with the Kardashians.

For instance, Khloe Kardashian’s Good American brand has an engagement level of just 0.02% despite having 2.4 million followers. Only a few hundred people “like” the posts.

Kris Jenner’s Get Safely homeware brand has 150,000 followers and an engagement rate of 0.08%. Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh brand has been doing well.

But it still has a low engagement rate of 0.15%. This information from Phalanx Analytics shows that their fans aren’t actively engaging with them.

The Kardashians – Accused of Buying Bots

This means the Kardashians could be purchasing bots to make it look as if they have a high follower account.

Experts have wondered whether they’re boosting their social media brand with paid bots. Coralee Trigger shared her thoughts on this matter with The U.S. Sun.

“Believing the Kardashians’ brands on social media have grown without any help from bots is like believing the Kardashians look the way they do without any help from Botox,” she explained.

“When celebrities say they’ve never had Botox, what they often mean is, ‘I’ve had work done, but it’s not the brand Botox.’ The same applies when denying using bots to inflate their social media following.”

Coralee dissed the Kardashians by saying they use both Botox and paid bots. She’s not the only one who feels this way. Social media consultant Matt Navarra also noted that their engagment levels are “disproportionate.”

“But there could be a number of factors at play here – fake followers or a high proportion of spam/bot accounts could be one of them,” he told The U.S. Sun. “As to whether they have paid for them would be pure guesswork without further investigation.”
