Hearties everywhere are still reeling over the Season 11 finale close and that cliffhanger. Still, with ending comes new beginnings; however, the harsh reality is that fans won’t see the next season of When Calls The Heart (WCTH) until 2025, which feels like an eternity away. Still, there is a silver lining to all this, and something viewers can celebrate.
When Call The Heart Season 12 Spoilers – Production Is Gearing Up
Erin Krakow, who not only plays leading lady Elizabeth Thornton but is also executive producer of WCTH, hopped on Instagram to share her yearly “selfie” photo.
This signifies her journey back to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, where the show films. This serves as a reminder that the cast and crew are gearing up for production!
They film new episodes until around November-ish of this year, which will be edited at the beginning of 2025 to prepare for Season 12’s premiere date. Sure, it’s a long way away; however, it’s exciting that WCTH’s new season is ramping up.
“WCTH”, Season 12 – What Fans Should Expect
As of this writing, no date for the premiere has been set; however, that doesn’t mean fans can’t speculate about what’s to come for WCTH, Season 12. With the cliffhanger from Season 11, it sounds like the show will dive into some Jack Thorton (Daniel Lissing) mystery.
After all, Elizabeth is on the cusp of receiving information about him, as per the ending of Season 11’s finale. While it’s been said that he’s not coming back, how will this information about Jack affect Elizabeth’s budding romance with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry)?
In addition, there are question marks about Lee Coulter’s (Kavan Smith) future in the little town, as well as Lucas Bouchard’s (Chris McNally) Governor goals, so only time will tell how Season 12 will dive into these storylines and what will come to be.
