As many royal fans know already, King Charles has cut ties with his son Prince Harry, and apparently, he had a very good reason for it. That’s because he thinks that the Duke of Sussex is supposedly a threat to the throne. There’s a new report that says the King of England was all ready to let go of his son, Prince Harry, from the royal family the moment that he noticed that he and his wife Meghan Markle appeared as a threat to the monarchy.
While no one wants to think of their own son in that way, King Charles wasn’t comfortable with Prince Harry’s rebellious ways, especially after he and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family.
Not only that, but it seems like Harry’s own brother, Prince William, who will on day be the next king of England, also sees him as a threat to the crown, believe it or not.
Royal Family News – What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “These are probably sad realizations that will be had far too late in the journey. In the eyes of some within the institution, Harry is a threat to the crown.”
“His freedom to exert his own thinking outside of the confines of the institution has made him the enemy.”
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey for their bombshell of an interview back in 2021, things haven’t been the same between the Sussexes and the royals back in England.
To make matters worse, the royal couple also threw the monarchy under the bus in their Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan. And because the Duke of Sussex just had so much dirt to share, he also wrote about the royals in his memoir, Spare.
So far King Charles himself has made no comments about the matter.
