Hallmark Channel spoilers and updates tease Hallmark Media lit up the 2024 TCA (Television Critics Association) Summer Press Tour with festive cheer, dazzling everyone with a sleigh full of new holiday concepts. At the convention Hallmark announced plans for 40 fresh holiday movies for the upcoming fall and winter seasons, along with an expansion of their programming lineup.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – All About Hallmark Plus Streaming Channel
Hallmark+ will launch in September, offering fans more content to enjoy during the Christmas season and beyond.
The network announced the streaming site on social media, promising a place where fans can stream joy, earn rewards, and share love. Hallmark Movies Now is changing its name to Hallmark+ and will offer exclusive movies and series.
The network announced new membership benefits including free cards, monthly coupons, surprise gifts, and more on social media.
Hallmark is launching its first holiday TV series, Holidazed, exclusively on Hallmark+, and Lacey Chabert, Luke Macfarlane, and other Hallmark favorites will host their own original series on the streaming platform.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – All About ‘Holidazed’
‘Holidazed’ is Hallmark’s first show dedicated to the holiday season, and will feature six families from diverse backgrounds living on the same street, each navigating through the holidays.
It features Dennis Haysbert, Loretta Devine, Ser’Darius Blain, Virginia Madsen, John C. McGinley, Lucille Soong, Osric Chau, Rachelle Lefevre, Lindy Booth, Ian Harding, Erin Cahill, Noemi Gonzalez, Holland Roden, and Nazneen Contractor.
It sounds like an intriguing idea, with the families mingling and jingling and getting to know each other. It is a comedy and the six families in Oak Bay, Oregon, live on the same cul de sac, as they deal with the joys and stress of coming home for the holidays.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Mistletoe Murders And Love On The Danube
Mistletoe Murders, announced in May, will be available for streaming on Hallmark+ during the holiday season.
In it, Sarah Drew stars as Emily, a small-town Christmas store owner who solves local murders with a police detective and his daughter. The Love on the Danube movie collection is also sailing to Hallmark+ this September.
The rom-com franchise will showcase three love stories in one beautiful destination, featuring Dan Jeannotte, Jessica Šipoš, Brendan Penny, Sarah Power, Wes Brown, and Contractor.
From Germany’s Black Forest to Romania’s Black Sea, the Danube River winds its way through stunning European cities and countryside, passing by farms, vineyards, and quaint villages.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Groomsmen Come In Threes
Hallmark’s The Wedding Veil trilogy was a hit, and now fans can look forward to The Groomsmen trilogy, featuring Tyler Hynes, Jonathan Bennett, and B.J. Britt.
The films will focus on the romantic lives of three best friends from different backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations.
They will find love and happiness in beautiful locations like Greece, Italy, and Bulgaria. The trilogy will premiere later this year on Hallmark+.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – The First Christmas Reality Show
Bennett, known for The Groomsmen films, will also host the network’s first reality competition show called Finding Mr. Christmas.
He joked at the TCA event, “There are people that watch Hallmark movies and then there are liars.” The show will feature 10 aspiring actors competing in Hallmark-themed challenges to win a leading role in a “Countdown to Christmas” movie.
Melissa Peterman will be the lead judge with a special guest judge in each episode. All are welcome to try out for the competition reality show.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – A Narrator Is Found For ‘The Chicken Sisters’
Hallmark unveiled a sneak peek of their new series The Chicken Sisters during the TCAs. In the preview, Amanda (played by Schuyler Fisk) shares with her mother-in-law, Nancy (portrayed by Lea Thompson), that the popular reality show Kitchen Clash is heading to their quaint town.
Despite Amanda’s playful offer to back out if Nancy isn’t comfortable, she manages to persuade her to join the competition against a rival fried chicken eatery nearby.
The show, which also features Genevieve Angelson as Mae and Wendie Malick as Gus, will be narrated by Margo Martindale and is set to premiere in September.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Celebrations With Lacey Chabert
Chabert is set to star in her very own reality show named Celebrations With Lacey Chabert debuting in September.
The Hallmark+ series is dedicated to honoring real-life heroes by throwing them the celebrations they truly deserve. “I discover extraordinary individuals who are making a difference in their communities and neighborhoods.
It’s their time to shine,” Chabert revealed in a preview for the show. “We’re teaming up with family, friends, and top-notch party planners to create spectacular parties for our heroes.”
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – From Decoration Competitions To Finding True Love
Wes Brown is leading the way in Ready, Set, Glow, a reality series showcasing individuals who have a passion for decorating and elevating their holiday celebrations.
“We’ll be introduced to families from all over the country whose long-standing traditions have been spreading joy for years,” he hinted in a preview for the program, set to premiere on Hallmark+ this autumn. It sounds like it will be similar to ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight”.
Meanwhile, Ashley Williams is offering regular folks the opportunity to experience a Hallmark-style romance in Small Town Setup.
“We’ll be exploring small town communities to assist residents in finding true love and crafting the quintessential Hallmark love story,” she revealed about the upcoming reality dating show on Hallmark+.
Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Renovation Reality Show, Merry Christmas Indeed!
Did you know Luke Macfarlane is set to host Hallmark+’s debut design series, Home is Where the Heart Is? Get ready for some well-crafted home renovation magic when the show premieres in 2025, spotlighting Macfarlane’s woodworking talent.
In addition, Hallmark is bringing holiday cheer with a whopping 40 new Christmas movies airing on either Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Mystery. Merry Christmas, indeed!
