Coronation Street Spoilers – Ken Barlow Runs into Trouble

Knowing that his dog would be home alone for a night, Ken decided to bring his dog to Still Waters for a night. However, the rules of Still Waters include that no pets are allowed. He soon receives a hefty fine for sneaking his dog into his apartment from Charles. However, Ken felt like he was being cheated since his dog could not have made much of a mess at all and should not have been charged a hefty fine. Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden), who has been trying to warn Ken ever since they crossed paths there, tells Ken that things will only get worse from here.

Believing that this was only the tip of the iceberg, Norris tells Ken that Charles is very good at conning people and that he had been doing it for some time. This encouraged Ken to do his own research by requesting a copy of the residents’ rulebook.

Stalling for time, Charles makes up an excuse by saying that they were waiting for the new ones to be printed. Not buying it, Ken does not believe anything that Charles was telling him and instead tells him that it was time for re-elections as he wants to challenge Charles position as the residents’ chair.

Charles is abusing his power, and Ken will be the one who will try to stop him from being able to con anyone else at Still Waters. However, will Ken be able to succeed in exposing the ways of Charles? What do you think? Will Ken be able to take Charles down? Will he become the new residents’ chair?
