Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) pulled out all the stops for months to get Gabi Hernandez-DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) out of prison.

Stefan was finally able to do so, but it involved a massive moral violation. Gabi couldn’t keep the secret that Jude Brady (Olver McLarty) belongs to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Stefan was furious with Gabi.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Stefan has spent several months trying to get Gabi out of prison. At one point, that included Stefan working for Clyde Weston (James Read) to keep Gabi safe in prison.

Stefan also shot Detective Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and was totally okay with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) taking the fall.

In the end, Stefan found proof that Jude belonged to Eric and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). In addition, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) not only knew but took extreme measures to keep ERICOLE from finding out the truth.

Then, Gabi got released from prison and had a press conference. Stefan asks Gabi to keep the leverage between them.

However, Gabi couldn’t do that. Gabi is a mother and while she’s no fan of Nicole, she knows what it feels like to be separated from a child. Gabi was also very close with Eric. Plus, Gabi definitely wanted to get some payback on EJ.

It is teased that during the week of July 22, 2024, Stefan and Gabi will find a way to get reconnected. While this is all very nice, I don’t think it will last.

DOOL Spoilers – STABI Split?

Now, this has nothing to do with the recast. While I adored Camila Banus to death, I also love the job that Cherie is doing playing the character of Gabi. The distance I sense between STABI has nothing to do with chemistry or even the actors.

I just feel that Gabi learned a lot from prison and was humbled. I feel that Gabi has evolved for the better – at least, a little bit. However, it seems like Stefan is just getting worse in terms of how far he will go.

I know Stefan doesn’t have any kids (that he knows of yet), so maybe that’s why he doesn’t get it. In any case, I feel that prison did more than separate Gabi and Stefan physically. It caused both of them to change so much that maybe there is no STABI anymore.
