General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) panics as Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) nowhere to be found-and her worst fear is that he ran away!
He was shocked when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) suddenly called off their speedboat excursion, leaving him hopeful they could reschedule, only to receive an even more devastating phone call from Jason.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Was Originally Forced Out Of Port Charles On A Mission
In the recent episode of GH on July 24th, Jason informed Danny about his upcoming mission out of town, keeping the details under wraps.
Danny reacted with frustration, proposing a spontaneous trip to Canada on a boat, but Jason shut down the idea-but this incident hinted at Danny’s readiness to escape, possibly impacting future events.
During his call with Jason, Danny overheard an announcement for the next bus to Albany leaving in 15 minutes and decided to go to the bus station.
But that wasn’t the actual destination; John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) instructed Jason to board the bus to Quantico, where he’d be given a new identity and briefed on his mission.
Unfortunately, Danny was unaware of this and had Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) take him to the bus station to look for his father and found him, but there’s a slight hitch.
GH Spoilers – Nothing Was Mentioned About Sam McCall Knowing Danny Morgan’s Plans
Sam might start to worry when she realizes Danny’s gone, leading to a potential panic as she imagines worst-case scenarios; Danny was left feeling hurt, angry, and confused by Jason’s updates.
His emotional state didn’t improve after their conversation is interrupted by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) with news about Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) arrest by Cates.
However, Sam’s fears may be alleviated once she discovers that Danny didn’t actually run away, especially if Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or someone else informs her before she jumps to conclusions.
Dante is aware of Cates bringing Carly in and Jason’s collaboration with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to devise a plan for her release.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has tasked Dante with uncovering the truth about Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) disappearance, so he was there working at the station.
General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates’ Blackmail Of Jason Morgan Hasn’t Ended
However, if Cates fails to convince Jason to cooperate and provide the necessary information to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he might have no choice but to leave town.
This General Hospital storyline has set the stage for a potential crisis involving Danny running away, which could leave Sam and Jason in a state of panic. This would undoubtedly give Sam another reason to hold Jason responsible for the turmoil in Danny’s life.
Despite Steve Burton staying on as Jason Morgan, it seems that this new plan won’t come to fruition, even though Cates has arrested Carly as part of his scheme.
Jason will likely find a way out of the FBI situation soon, but will he have to embark on a different personal mission to find Danny before it’s over?
