Donald Trump Is Reportedly Feuding With the Sussexes Because He Knows America Agrees

Donald Trump is currently deep in his campaign to be re-elected as the President of the United States, and, as anyone can imagine, has little time to mind about any business the Sussexes are involved in. But you know who does? His son Eric Trump.

And a royal expert believes the reason the Trump family is openly critical of the couple is because they know ordinary Americans agree.

Donald Trump – Reportedly Using Sussex Feud To Show Support To the Brits

In his latest column for The Sun, US writer Lee Cohen weighed in on the Trumps’ negative reviews of the Sussexes, starting with Trump openly blasting them for being “disrespectful” to the now-late Queen Elizabeth.

After noting Trump’s gift for judging the “national temperature,” he wrote, “Consider, for example, his views on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whom for years he has been involved in an escalating tit-for-tat war of words with. This week, his son, Eric, labelled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as “spoiled apples” – proving that, indeed, Donald’s own apple didn’t fall far from the tree.”

Cohen observed that people may see the “Trump-Sussex discord as just another round of celebrity gossip,” however he felt that it means more than that.

He wrote: “But, it tellingly proves the former [and perhaps next] President is feeling emboldened enough to give voice to the frustrations of citizens on both sides of the Atlantic, who increasingly hold a widespread disdain for the Sussexes’ perceived disloyalty, victimhood and entitlement.”

In 2016, Meghan seemingly ignited the war when she called Trump “misogynistic” and “divisive,” during an appearance on a late-night talk show.

“In response,” Cohen recalled. “Trump labelled her as “nasty” in a 2019 interview, and their exchanges continued to escalate over the years.”

Another instance of this bad blood happened when Harry criticised Trump during a prank call in 2020. The Republican then threatened to deny the couple US security costs after they moved to Los Angeles from Canada.

Cohen continued: “Eric added further fuel to this feud in a recent GB News interview, characterising the Sussexes as “spoiled apples” and suggesting he would “happily send them back” to the UK. Such remarks encapsulate a broader sentiment among many Americans who perceive Harry and Meghan as self-serving, hypocritical grifters.”
