DOOL spoilers reveal that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) ended up poking Stefano DiMera’s (Stephen Nichols) eye out with her stiletto heel. It caused major damage, which was clear from his blood-soaked face. He is taken to the hospital and requires surgery. However, the operation doesn’t go exactly as planned.

During the operation on Steve, Kayla and Sarah encounter some serious complications. It is a harrowing procedure, but they don’t lose Steve. Unfortunately, he doesn’t wake up right away. This has Kayla worried and really thinking about what to do if and when Steve does ever wake up. She has some big decisions to make.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kayla will sit vigil by Steve’s bedside until he finally wakes up. In the meantime, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) is even more concerned about the status of his relationship. He’s not a cruel person and of course, he wants Steve to wake up and be back to himself. However, if he does, then that means Justin stands a chance of losing the woman he loves.

It is teased that eventually, Steve wakes up, but there is an unexpected hitch. It is suggested that he will have some memory loss. He doesn’t know that Adrienne Kiriakis (formerly Judi Evans) is dead, for one thing. Another concern is that he doesn’t seem to remember his love for Kayla. However, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) steps in to help. Together, they fight to make Steve remember and one day, he does.

But does that mean Steve and Kayla will reunite as a couple? “Stayla” fans certainly hope so, but there is a chance that she could stick with Justin, too. She also might need to take some time to really decide which man deserves her heart. To find out if Kayla picks Steve or Justin, fans will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera.
